Could wedding bells be in the near future for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?

Pattinson has reportedly given Stewart a reconciliation ultimatum for their reconciliation: marriage.

"Rob told Kristen the only way he can forgive her affair is if she truly commits to him. Rob has been keen to marry Kristen for quite a while and he doesn't want to get back with her unless he knows she means it for life too," a source reportedly told The Daily Star. "He is desperate to make it work and wants to give her another chance but not unless she proves she really wants it too," the source added.

The "Twilight" couple only recently started making amends.

Robert Pattinson broke up with his co-star two months ago after an affair that became very public around Kristin Stewart and her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.  Us Weekly reported that the "Twilight" stars have reconciled their differences in Los Angeles which lead to a "dramatic makeup."

According to the source for Us Weekly, Pattinson decided to finally meet and talk things out with his ex last week after two months of heartbreak.

The source stated that: "They're working it out," and that, "he's still in love with her."

The affair between Stewart and Sanders, 41, took place in mid-July, which quickly fueled Hollywood gossip. Both admitted to what had happed and apologized to the public and their partners.

The two "Twilight" stars are on track to continue promotions for the newest and last film of the "Twilight" saga series, which will hit theaters November 16 with the first tickets becoming available on September 30.

It's still early to see how this ultimatum will be received by Stewart, but this is something fans of their films have been waiting for a while.
