'Avengers: Infinity War': This Hero Definitely WON'T Appear, Kevin Feige Explains [VIDEO]
There is one member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes that has zero chance of lading a spot in Avengers 3.
Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is as dead as a doornail, according to Marvel Studio's Kevin Feige, and nothing, not even the TAHITI program can bring him back. This information spilled out at a screening and Q&A session hosted by the University of Southern California.
"Quiksilver is DEAD. 100%, he's not coming back any time soon, there are no plans," an attendee and Reddit user reported. "No LMD (Life Model Decoy), no escaping bullets, no retcon. [Feige] said he is dead and wanted to make sure people understood that."
Alas, poor Pietro, we hardly knew you. You brought the witty repartee to the Maximoff duo, but a little time around the rest of the Avengers may help Scarlet Witch learn a few quips of her own.
Set to air in two parts, Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters in 2018 and 2019. Directed by Captain America's Russo brothers, Avengers 3 will also be penned by Captain America alum Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
