The annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting is set to go down tonight in New York City, with special performances from some of the most beloved singers and bands in the world.
The Christmas tree lighting will take place a few minutes before 9 p.m. ET, with NBC airing a holiday special to kick off the event. NBC's event will air at 8 p.m., hosted by Today hosts Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Natalie Morales and Al Roker.

Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bocelli, The Band Perry, Andy Grammer, Carly Rae Jepsen, Pentatonix, Sting, James Taylor featuring Chris Botti, Band of Merrymakers and the Rockettes.
