Tom Hardy seems to be getting along well with a One Direction star.

In Saturday's report from Hollywood Life, it was revealed that boy band member Harry Styles is having fun on set of the World War II drama Dunkirk where he stars alongside Hardy. And since acting hasn't been a major part of Styles' life, it's nice that he's getting some positive tips from Hardy.

"Harry has been crushing it on set of his new film," a source told the site. "He has been getting along with all the cast and crew who all love how humble the superstar is acting on [set]. He is not behaving like a diva at all, no entourage, just a sweet guy. Harry is getting lots of advice from veteran actor Tom Hardy."

Considering that Hardy is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood today, there is a lot of good words of wisdom he can deliver to his co-stars. Hardy's fame has been doing so well that other big names like Jane Fonda have compared him to movie icons like Marlon Brando.

"I saw The Revenant and asked who played the bad guy," Fonda said in a previous report from USA Today. "It was Tom Hardy and then a lot of folks said, 'You gotta see him in Legend. There he played twin brothers who are British gangsters. He is really amazing in this film. I came to think of the two brothers and different people even though Hardy was playing both. And, as the more together of the brothers, Hardy is like a new Brando."

Hardy was nominated for an Oscar earlier this year for Best Supporting Actor in The Revenant. He's also known for Mad Max: Fury Road and The Dark Knight Rises.
