Several days after People writer Natasha Stoynoff came forward with her harrowing tale of being groped by Donald Trump while interviewing him for a story, Melania has chosen to comment. And, interestingly enough, she is not defending her husband at all.

Instead, she and her lawyers targeted Natasha alleging that she saw Melania at some point after the assault, and the two had a quick talk outside of Trump Tower. She also objected to the fact that Natasha squeezed Barron's (then a baby) foot.

Melania's team went on to suggest that Melania was never friends with Natasha, nor was she ever even friendly with her. Ooh, sick burn, Melania.

The lawyers gave People 24 hours to redact and apologize and, at the time of publishing this, People has stuck with their story.

Looks like this can mean war.
