Jessa Duggar-Ben Seewald: Second Baby Might Be Named After Preacher [VIDEO]

Spurgeon Elliot Seewald will soon get a tiny brother or sister. Will the new sibling get such an unusual name as Spurgeon, the elder son?

Fans are dying to know.

Time is running out, and the third Duggar daughter and her husband need to pick a name fast. Even as Jessa put up a baby bump update on Instagram, she got a reminder that the baby will be out in six weeks, said Daily Mail.

So far, Jessa Duggar has not revealed whether they are choosing a name for the baby or not. Just before the first child, the Seewalds had used Instagram to point out his unique name, and posted a number of quotes from Charles Spurgeon, the 19th-century Baptist preacher whose name is shared by the child.

And now the quotes that follow are by A.W. Tozer, who is also a well-known preacher. This is not the first time she is sharing his words with her fans. Hence, she is perhaps naming her new baby after him.

The Duggar family seems to be following the "letter theme", as all 19 children have names starting with 'J'. Josh Duggar's four children all start with 'M'. However, Jessa and Ben Seewald want to opt for another letter, not the same one that starts the name of the elder son.

"The only theme we might have are using names of heroes from the Christian faith," Jessa told People.

A.W. Tozer could be called a Christian "hero". The Christian and Ministry Alliance said that the self-taught pastor had said "that the church was on a dangerous course towards compromising with 'worldly' concerns." He was thus one Christian who lived an austere, non-materialistic life, while he wrote 40 books and donated the royalties to those who needed the money.

Given their evangelical leanings, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald openly espouse the names of popular preachers such as Spurgeon and Tozer. The baby's name seems clear, then.
