The iPhone 8 which will be the next iteration of the iPhone family is speculated to feature the Touch Bar which was similar to MacBook. Aside from that, the upcoming device from Apple Inc. might also incorporate 3D Facial Recognition.

According to CNET, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently predicted that the iPhone 8 could boast a Touch Bar which was similar to the MacBook Pro. He even claimed that the smaller iPhone will boast an enormous 5.8-inch OLED display, although only 5.15 inches will be the functioning screen which might be earmarked for virtual buttons. Although iPhone 8 was believed to have a larger screen, Kuo still anticipates that the next iPhone will have measurements similar to the current 4.7-inch iPhone 7.

In a separate report by Tech Times has learned that J.P. Morgan analyst named Rod Hall, has predicted that Apple will be removing the Touch ID technology as iPhone 8 will not have a Home button for it to be equipped with an edge-to-edge display.  With this, Hall said that the iPhone 8 will be armed with a front-facing 3D laser scanner that will be the replacement for the fingerprint scanner.

The said 3D-laser scanner is also believed to boost the security of the iPhone 8. It is also predicted to be a more accurate component when paralleled to an infrared sensor. With the better security, there is a good chance that iPhone 8 will also grow and increase users of services such as Apple Pay.

Aside from the above-mentioned specs, iPhone 8 is also predicted to be featuring a glass and steel body. Apple Inc. may incorporate an iris scanner and support for wireless charging technology.

As for the price, it was rumored that iPhone 8 will be tagged at a hefty price of $1000 range due to new technologies that might be added with the handset. The forthcoming iPhone is anticipated to arrive in September which was the 10th anniversary of the handset line.
