A patent has been published by the US Patent and Trademark Office for this new stylus which states that when the pen is been stored in the Note body then it carries sound through the pen and exists at the top of the pen via a new speaker. But when the pen is removed from the Note device then the sound simply travels from the internal speaker through the shaft opening.
