According to the listing of their agent Suzanne Perkins of Sotheby's International Realty, the couple is selling Montecito because they do not spend as much time as they used to do in that place. Once again, rumors are rife that it could be because Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are headed for divorce.

Los Angeles Times reports that Montecito property is set among the eucalyptus trees. The house itself rests on the hilltop which can be reached by a winding driveway. The estate of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi was designed by Wallace Frost and was built in the 1930s. It has a cobblestone motor court, statuary, and crawling vines. All these contribute to the romantic ambiance of the place.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's marriage have been rumored to be on the rocks for various reasons.
