It's been eight years since the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died at the age of 50. Jackson was a cultural and worldwide icon that was beloved by millions. The Thriller singer's career spawned decades from when he was a member of the group The Jackson 5 to his solo career.

After his death, numerous conspiracy theories plagued Jackson's family, including his three children Paris Katherine, Prince Michael, and Prince Michael II a.k.a. Blanket. Many have spoken in favor and defended Jackson while others have still tried to allege he was a child molester.

Now the late singer's friend, actor Macaulay Culkin, is speaking on his relationship Jackson's daughter, Paris.

I Am Very Protective Of Her

The Home Alone star spoke about his bond with Paris during an interview where he warned WTF's Marc Maron not to ask any personal questions about Paris. The actor elaborated that he was "very protective" of her, and any questions pertaining to her would "lead to a dead-end."

"I am a very open book when it comes to things, but like with her, she is beloved by me," Culkin stated. The actor's remarks should not come as a surprise, as Culkin is the aspiring model's godfather and was also defensive of Jackson.

Culkin testified in Jackson's 2005 child molestation trial in the singer's defense. Jackson died of heart attack in 2009.

Culkin and Paris both got tattoos of spoons on their arms in the summer of 2017.

On his relationship with the late singer, Culkin stated that he had no doubt about Jackson's intentions toward him and never felt uncomfortable being around the "Beat It" singer.

"Seriously, he was like my best friend for a good long stretch. It was a legitimate friendship," the actor commented. Culkin also stated that he didn't find it out that Jackson would hang out with boys almost twenty years younger than him since the singer didn't have much of a childhood.

Since Jackson's passing, his kids have been more exposed now than ever. Paris made headlines often for her alleged feud with her paternal aunts and uncles and her attempted suicide. Jackson's daughter has expressed her desire to become a model and actress.
