It looks like Jason Derulo might want that old thing back! Fans of the singer-songwriter know that he dated Jordin Sparks for three years before the two decided to end their relationship in September 2014.

A recent comment he made on Sparks's Instagram makes it seem like he might want her back or maybe just wishes he was having a kid with her — who knows?

In November 2017, Sparks revealed that she was expecting her first child, a baby boy with her husband, Dana Isaiah. The American Idol winner took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Isaiah holding blue confetti.

"IT'S A BOY!!! We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list! @danaisaiah's gonna have a little mini me running around! We can't wait to meet him, We love you lil man!" the 28-year-old wrote.

On Tuesday, Feb. 13, Derulo reportedly took to Instagram and commented on that exact same photo.

"I wish that was my boy. #allmysongsareaboutyou," Derulo wrote.

Although the comment was deleted shortly after, a Twitter user was able to get a screenshot of the moment.

The "Swalla" singer immediately replied to the Twitter user by explaining that he was on an MTV series called Safe Word and the show hacked his account.

"Relax ppl I was on the tv show #safeword smh. The show hacked me pages," Derulo claimed.

Was Jordin Sparks Derulo's Safe Word?

Safe Word is a comedy series that pairs celebrities and comedians against each other in head to head challenges, including social media games. The idea is to push celebrities out of their comfort zones as they take on the heat, but the only way to stop the humiliation is by using their safe word.

While it might be a possibility that Derulo is participating in the show, others weren't buying it.

Although the comment has been deleted, Sparks has not yet remarked on the incident.

Jordin And Jason

Throughout their relationship, the former couple definitely became "goals" to their fans.

In 2014, it was reported that the two amicably decided to end their relationship. According to Derulo, one of the reasons for the breakup was the constant pressures of marriage. Sparks wanted to get married but he wasn't ready. However, the pressure didn't only come from Sparks; it came from everyone.

Although the breakup didn't end on good terms, Sparks tried to come to a consensus with Derulo but it never happened, and following their split the two haven't spoken to each other since.

Now the "No Air" singer is expecting her first child with her husband. Sparks and the fitness model will reportedly welcome a baby boy in the spring.
