Dean McDermott’s Ex-Wife Reveals Tori Spelling Has Been Covering His Alimony Payments

It's been a rough few weeks for Tori Spelling. The actress was at the center of a domestic dispute and is reportedly in financial distress.

Struggling To Pay Bills

Dean McDermott's ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, spoke out about the Chopped Canada host's failure to pay alimony payments or to provide for their son.

Eustace was married to McDermott from 1993 to 2006. The two split after he had an affair with Spelling on the set of a TV movie which they were both starring at the time. Eustace took her ex to court last year over child custody payments, and the two settled out of court.

She explained how McDermott had failed to pay for the rent of their son, Jack, while he was studying at university. When Eustace was set to take his father back to court, Spelling stepped up to the plate.

"Tori reached out to me and basically said that she would be covering the alimony because Dean didn't have any money, and she would be doing it," Eustace explained.

After a few months of footing the bill on behalf of McDermott, the payments from Spelling reportedly dried up, much to Eustace's annoyance.

 "I didn't hear from her ... And I reached out to Dean and he didn't respond to me, and I reached out to both of them, and I didn't hear anything," she claimed.

Struggling To Cope

The couple appears to have a fiery relationship. Police responded to a domestic dispute at Spelling's house on Thursday of last week.

Although the LAPD didn't confirm whether she and McDermott had an argument, they only revealed that they responded to a 911 call about a domestic dispute, it's presumed to be the case.

Spelling reportedly told Eustace she'd been ill, and admitted to going through a stressful time in her life. The two have only communicated via text message thus far.

The 90210 alum's family and friends are allegedly very worried about her. McDermott recently reached out to police to track his wife down, after she abruptly left the family home with one of their children. She was subsequently found outside a doctor's office, and the cops concluded Spelling was fine.

The 44-year-old actress has struggled to get work for years, and is reportedly now the primary caregiver for the five children living with her and McDermott. He was reportedly caught having an affair back in 2013, which has also put a strain on their relationship.

"You would think the cheating, money problems and constant arguing would be enough for Tori to decide to divorce Dean, but she refuses to even discuss it," explained a source.

Spelling, who starred in classic nineties shows including Beverly Hills 90210 and Saved By The Bell, is the daughter of TV super-producer Aaron Spelling. He reportedly left a $600 million fortune when he passed away in 2006. However, Tori only received $800,000 allegedly due to her reckless spending habits.
