Tori Spelling just can't catch a break. The beleaguered actress is struggling with money troubles, mental health issues, and now her marriage is in crisis.

Struggling To Cope

Last week, word spread to the press via the ex-wife of Spelling's current husband, Dean McDermott, that the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was covering his alimony payments.

Mary Jo Eustace confirmed that Spelling had agreed to cover alimony while McDermott was out of work. However, lately, she'd been reneging on the payments and dodging Eustace's calls due to ongoing personal issues.

Now it seems Spelling's troubles don't end there as an insider revealed her marriage to McDermott is on the rocks.

"Tori and Dean's marriage is in shambles despite having a sit down last week to try to make it work. They made an attempt to use the tools given to them by their therapist to create a healthy environment for the kids but it isn't working," the source told ET.

Spelling reportedly feels overwhelmed with being at home with the couple's five children, and needs more input from McDermott as a partner.

The two got married in 2006, and soon created a busy family home environment that is reportedly not conducive to Spelling's mental health.

Off the back of the LAPD being called to handle a domestic dispute, McDermott is also being careful to remain calm despite the escalating stress of the situation.

"He doesn't want to raise his voice or say anything that she could misconstrue to the police," the source continued.

McDermott, who cheated on Eustace with Spelling while the two were working on a TV movie together, had another affair back in 2013. As a result, there's a significant strain on the relationship, leading Spelling to panic every time he's missing for too long because she's always fearing the worst.

Escalating Tension

On the other hand, McDermott called police on Spelling last week after she disappeared with one of their children. Although the actress was subsequently located outside a doctor's office in Thousand Oaks, it was just another in a long line of bizarre incidents surrounding the couple.

Spelling reportedly hit the roof as a result, but McDermott is standing firm on his approach to keeping his wife and kids safe.

"Dean ... just wants to show Tori he is serious about watching her behavior and the children," the source advised.

The couple's children are reportedly present during many of their arguments and outbursts, leading to further strain on their relationship.

People close to Spelling and McDermott have already expressed their worries for the couple to the media, claiming the situation is only getting worse as the days go by. There has even been talk of a possible intervention.

Spelling, for her part, remains outwardly positive on social media and has even returned to work in the wake of these continuing issues at home.
