Lucy Hale Opens Up About Sex Scene In 'Truth Or Dare': 'Sex Scenes Are Never Sexy'
Pretty Little Liars alum Lucy Hale has moved on from her "lying" days and is set to star in a new horror film that will surely scare every right.
The actress' latest film, Truth or Dare, hits theaters on April 13, which is also Friday the 13th. The film also stars Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey, who will not only be sharing some screams with Hale but also a love scene.
The two actors sat down with E! News about the new film and why sex scenes are apparently "not sexy."
Lucy's Steamy Role
While promoting the new film, the PLL star claimed that the sex scene she filmed with Posey was far from sexy. As a matter of fact, she claims it was very awkward. She said she was topless in the scene. Posey agreed with the actress' comments and said that he was completely naked except for a piece of clothing that covered his private area.
"It was awkward. I was completely...I had a weird little ball sock. It looked like a ball! It was awkward!" Posey stated.
Hale continued that when filming any sex scene, there's always other people in the room, which it makes it even more awkward.
"You always have to remember, it's not just us two in the room; there's a million people in there --grown men! -- just, like, staring at you. I was very comfortable with Tyler, and you kind of have to be. On top of it being a sex scene, that was my scene where I'm possessed in the movie, too," Hale commented.
The film also stars Violett Beane, Hayden Szeto, and Landon Liboiron. The upcoming teen thriller follows a group of friends that partake in the game "Truth or Dare" but learn horrifying consequences when someone decides to stop playing.
Lucy Kissed A Girl...And She Liked It!
In a separate interview, Hale also opened up about her first on-screen kiss, which was with another girl! Hale and Posey appeared on Celebrity Binge Watch and the actress revealed the scene took place during the pilot episode of Secrets Of A Small Town, which aired in 2006.
Hale is best known for her role as Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars, whom Hale portrayed for all seven seasons.
Posey starred as the main character Scott Wolf on the MTV series Teen Wolf for seven seasons.
