Channing Tatum Wife: Fans Slam Jenna Dewan For Dropping 'Tatum' Name And Sharing Revealing Photo Just After Split

Fans made it clear they didn’t think Jenna Dewan waited long enough before she started posting certain photos. She also removed "Tatum" from her name.

From Mrs. Tatum To Ms. Dewan

Fans had lots to say when Dewan posted a photo of herself in bed wearing a bra, underwear, and an open robe. They also pointed out that she dropped Tatum from her last name on social media amid her separation with her now estranged husband Channing Tatum.

“Wow u quickly shed that last name,” said one fan under Dewan’s now viral photo. “What a shame.”

Another wrote that Dewan couldn’t wait to take off her clothes for social media and suggested she broke up with Tatum.

One pointed out that Dewan was laughing in her photo and holding a cup of coffee.

“I’m sorry but you were married to the hottest person in America,” they wrote. “I don’t think cups of coffee bring laughter [any] more.”

Another fan kept their comment simple and said the snapshot was “inappropriate.”

Others called out Dewan for also deleting photos of Tatum from her Instagram page, and said that Tatum still has their old photos up on his profile.

Still, Dewan received lots of support as a number of fans pointed out that Tatum actually liked the photo. They took that as an indication that the exes are still on good terms after their split.

Other fans pointed out that if Tatum posed in underwear and changed his last name, he most likely wouldn’t receive any backlash from fans, hinting that the hate against Dewan is a double standard.

Channing And Jenna's Announcement

Tatum and Dewan announced their separation on social media earlier this month. They released a joint statement and said they initially felt a little awkward having to share the private moments of their lives with millions of fans. Still, they added that they wanted to share their own news to avoid any “alternative facts” being reported.

“We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” read the statement.

They said that while they still love one another the same way they did when they first fell in love, they have realized that their lives are going in different directions. They insisted that “there are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision” and said they are still the best of friends.
