The Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel will take Peter Parker around the globe and not just in the Queens neighborhood, something that can be anticipated in the next franchise.

Avengers: Infinity War is just days till it sees light, but already a few details had been released of the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is believed that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel will be the first of the fourth phase.

Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios president, revealed in an interview with io9 that the journey of Spider-Man on the sequel would be larger than his first affairs as would indeed be swinging around the globe.

"[W]e shoot a lot of films in London but there's another reason we're shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he'll spend some time in other parts of the globe," Feige said.

Spider-Man's Storyline

That said, it is interesting to think how Spider-Man's storyline would play out in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which could ultimately be essential to figuring out how and why the character needs to do some traveling. Feige remained tight-lipped about the details, though he said production will start in July.

However, his words could only ignite a thong of predictions from fans. How will Spider-Man be able to go to London? What will he do there? One guess is that he had a field trip in the country, much like when Peter Parker and his team went to Washington.

The news could be a game-changer for the superhero, who remained being a savior in New York. Going to London could give the franchise a little bit of spice, since its two films had Spider-Man in the Big Apple.

It could also be a great storyline for Spider-Man, who could explore the beauties of other European countries. It also somewhat supports rumors that an audition for a French actress to take on the role of the superhero's leading lady, Gwen Stacy, has been ongoing.

This was what prompted speculations that Stacy would be an exchange student. But with the recent light of news, it seemed that Parker will be the exchange student. While there is still no word yet on the Spider-Man's narration, it is expected that details will leak and speculations will begin to swirl after the Avengers: Infinity War.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel is slated for a July 5, 2019 release. It remains untitled yet, as of writing.
