Two weeks after their second lavish wedding, Justin Bieber showed off the handmade necklace he made for his wife, Hailey Baldwin.
You might remember that the 'What Do You Mean' singer proposed to the model with a $500,000 engagement ring from a New York City-based jewellery store, Solow & Co. However, that didn't stop him from creating a handmade yellow and purple-brown beaded necklace for his wife.
The 25-year-old pop star shared a photo of his 22-year-old model wife on Instagram on Sunday, showing her wearing the new jewellery. Nonetheless, everybody was surprised that the necklace wasn't as flashy as one would expect. In fact, the singer's design was a striking yet simple piece of craft that perfectly complemented Hailey's casual outfit.
In the photo, the blonde beauty looks to the right side, with her hair up in a sleek ponytail. She's wearing a black leather jacket and has a crossbody bag hanging from her shoulder.
"I made her a necklace," Bieber said in the Instagram caption. The necklace even came with a "wifey" diamond nameplate Baldwin was also wearing in the snap.
Some of the fans' comments include: "A craftsman!"; "Justin the Jeweler"; and "Get you a man that makes you a necklace."
The new accessory is far from what the Calvin Klein model usually receive from Bieber. In the past, she got a simple "J" pendant, a diamond-encrusted "Bieber" chain and, of course, the giant oval-cut engagement ring and iced-out Tiffany & Co. wedding bands.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's History
The couple had their ups and downs together since they were first introduced by Stephen Baldwin, Hailey's father, backstage at the 2009 Today show.
They first became friends, then later became a couple, and then returned to being friends again right before they were engaged and married. Everyone was caught by surprise with the stunning development.
Their wedding was held in South Carolina, and the couple headed there on Saturday and took snaps and posted them on Instagram. The couple tied the know at the Montage Palmetto Bluff resort, which was said to be like Bieber's second home. It was a place he used to go to when he needed an escape and some quiet time.
Back in August, the pair was spotted in the area -- perhaps, they were doing some event planning.
Bieber and Baldwin said their "I Dos" at sunset at the Somerset Chapel.
The dress Baldwin wore when she walked down the aisle was designed by Virgil Abloh of Off-White.
It was reported that there were 154 guests, including Kris Jenner, Jaden Smith, Usher, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Baldwin's model friends, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, and more.
