50 Cent is adamant that he is not guilty of the charges against him yesterday from last month's domestic violence incident.

The 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, faces one count of domestic assault and four counts of vandalism in relation to an incident that took place in Tolcua Lake on June 23, reports CNN.

Jackson allegedly kicked the mother of his child during an altercation during which he caused over $7,000 worth of property damage. However, the musician's attorney states that 50 Cent did not commit the offence and is not under arrest.

"Curtis Jackson [50 Cent] denies these allegations as made against him," said lawyer Scott Leemon, according to TMZ. "It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest."

50 Cent also informed fans that he had not been arrested via Twitter late Wednesday afternoon.

"I'm in the car I haven't been arrested. I'm listing to MJ#SMSAUDIO," the performer tweeted after sharing lyrics to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean.

Since then, 50 has been tweeting a series of pictures showing what he is doing since he isn't in jail.

"I'm not in jail I'm by my pool," Jackson captioned a picture, followed by one in a car, and another by a waterfall.

He is scheduled to appear in court on July 22.
