Denzel Washington is mixed up in a tabloid frenzy.

Reported photos of the actor cheating on his wife were recently being sold to media outlets. The rumors developed only two days after Washington appeared on the August 2013 cover of Ebony magazine with his wife of 30 years, Paulette Pearson.

A rep for the 58-year-old has reportedly shot down these allegations and said that the actor and his wife won't be getting divorced or separated.

Washington's wife spoke about her relationship with the two-time Academy Award winner in Ebony.

"I live with this man. I see the down part. I see the sad part. I see every part," she told the magazine, as quoted by The Huffington Post. "He has and knows he has stability in me as his wife. That's what gives him strength, regardless if he misuses it. I can't dwell on that. But I do know that gives him a great platform to go and fly."

The actor also added a few words of his own regarding his relationship.

"There's no magical mystery to [staying together]," he said. "We go through up and downs like any couple."

The couple has four children together named John, Malcolm, Olivia and Katia.

Still, infidelity rumors have plagued the couple and his family for years. The actor was accused of cheating on his wife with his 2003 thriller Out of Time co-star Sanaa Lathan.

The actress denied the rumor and in 2006 even told Vibe magazine how frustrating these types of accusations are.

"(The rumor) got started because the movie had a love scene with Denzel, and people took that and translated it to real life," she said.

The rumor, she added, went as far as to say that Lathan was pregnant with his child.

Amidst these rumors, Washington is currently filming the movie The Equalizer, according to IMDB. The movie will come to theaters on Sept, 26, 2014.
