Johnny Depp is desperate to grant himself the greatest hope he has after winning the defamation trial.

Depp, after winning the case against Amber Heard, regained everything he lost as a person. But as an actor, he is yet to recover all the losses he suffered from.

While Heard is busy looking for the ways to overturn the ruling and appeal the verdict, the actor began focusing on himself as he hopes for one thing after his win: a career resurgence.

A source recently told PEOPLE that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor hopes to restore his film career.

"His career has been his everything over the years. He loves music, but acting is his life. He couldn't sit around and do nothing about the fact that his career was being affected. He thinks the verdict was fair. It feels like a win to him. He very much hopes that he can revive his career," the insider said.

Another source added that Depp shifted his focus on himself while looking for positivity and leaving negativity behind.

The actor, as of this writing, is happy and relieved, thanks to the verdict.

As he won against Heard, Depp successfully proved that he never abused his ex-wife and that the allegations she made against him were untrue.

With that, he felt like a significant weight was removed off his shoulders.

Johnny Depp Thankful But NOT Interested in Coming Back to "Pirates of the Caribbean" Franchise

Depp has since expressed his gratitude in a statement after the verdict was read, saying that the best is yet to come after the ruling.

According to the actor, everything changed in the blink of an eye six years ago. But six years later, the jury gave him back his life.

Although he wants to revive his career, he proclaimed in the courtroom that he would never accept Disney's offer if it offers him Captain Jack Sparrow's role again.

"The fact is, Mr. Depp, if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film? Correct?" the lawyer asked, as quoted by Variety.

The actor, unfortunately to fans, agreed to Rottenborn's statement, completely cutting his ties with Disney.

However, an ex-Disney executive has claimed that the post-verdict would lead to Captain Jack Sparrow's original actor returning on board.

For now, it should be taken with a grain of salt. But fans, in return, offered their biggest support to Depp.
