Johnny Depp, regardless of Disney's offer, will not return to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.

Depp unknowingly hyped his fans as an Australian news outlet, Pop Topic, reported that he received a $301 million deal from the Mouse House as the company tried to cast him again. The news outlet added that Disney would offer him more if he agreed to play Captain Jack Sparrow's role again.

"Disney is very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp. They are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character," a source told the outlet.

But that's not the case after all.

Johnny Depp's Return to "Pirates of the Caribbean" IMPOSSIBLE

A representative for the actor told NBC News (via E! News) debunked the claims and said that the report was made up.

Another spokesperson told Radar Online that Depp has no plans to wear Captain Jack Sparrow's costume again.

These resonated with what the actor told the public during the defamation trial and the statement producer Jerry Bruckheimer said.

For what it's worth, the "Edward Scissorhands" actor was asked during the trial if he would take the role again.

He responded to the question: "If Disney came to you with $300m dollars and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film?" and said that it was indeed true.

Depp made it clear during the cross-examination that Disney no longer has a chance to win him and include him again in the multi-billion franchise.

Meanwhile, Bruckheimer, the producer of the franchise, told The Sunday Times that the project does not currently include the actor. Still, he said that his future in the franchise remains unknown.

As of press time, they are focusing on a Margot Robbie-led movie.

Before Depp lost everything, he was already tapped to star in the sixth installment of the franchise. His agent, Jack Whigham, revealed in his May 2 testimony that the actor had already agreed to receive a $22.5 million pay to spearhead the sixth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film.

After the op-ed was published, he found it hard to get him a studio film. But there was also a Daily Mail article that said Depp was out as Captain Jack Sparrow before Heard published her essay.
