Taylor Armstrong revealed via Twitter her "romantic" vacation in Mexico with John Bluher shortly before the attorney proposed on Aug. 22.

Unaware of Bluher's plans to propose a day later, Armstrong tweeted, "Hi Tweeties. Miss U. I'm on vacation in Mexico...Rest, Relaxation & Romance w @JohnBluher. Snorkel, surf, stand up paddle, swim & sun. #love."

This will be the second marriage for Armstrong. Taylor's estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, committed suicide in August 2011. Taylor and Russell shared daughter Kennedy, now 6.

Bluher proposed at the The St. Regis Punta Mita Nayarit Resort in Mexico. He told Us Weekly, "The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is where we fell in love, it was the perfect choice for this wonderful occasion."

Taylor confirmed her engagement also on the social media website, tweeting, "Engaged! @JohnBluher proposed while kneeling in the sand at the @StRegisPMita - white tent, chandelier, candles, flowers & an amazing sunset."

"Thank you for all the congrats," she added. "We are very happy and thankful for one another. Kennedy and I are blessed to have @JohnBluher in our lives."

No word yet on whether Taylor's engagement will be featured in season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which already began filming. The cast of Bravo's series earlier in August went on a trip to Puerto Rico that was filmed for the upcoming season of the reality series, but Taylor did not go on the trip.
