Betty White's wax figure is being temporarily relocated from Madame Tussands in Hollywood to Washington D.C.

E! News reported that the sculpture of the 91-year-old funny lady and philanthropist will be unveiled by Washington Humane Society Chief Executive Officer Lisa LoFontaine.

The statue will pay homage to the "Hot in Cleveland" star's passion and love for animals.

"My interest in animals started in the womb," the 90-year-old actress told The Associated Press back in May 2012. "I think my mother's and father's started in the same place. They were animal nuts long before I came along."

Since 1974, White has served as a trustee of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association

The statue will remain in Washington through December.

"The only thing that irks me is they waited until I was 90," the former "Golden Girls" actress joked when the sculpture was unveiled in Los Angeles in June 2012.

"A few decades ago would have been swell," she said. "I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure. Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over?"

Reports also indicated that White is the oldest living person to be honored by Madame Tussauds.

White is best known for her television roles on "The Golden Girls" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and currently starts the hit show,"Hot in Cleveland" on TV Land.
