Marvel released two new teaser clips  from Thor: The Dark World showing the hero (Chris Hemsworth), Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Malekith (Christopher Eccleston).

The first clip shows Malekith waking up and speaking to his army of Dark Elves as he unveils his plans for vengeance against the Asgardians.

"The Aether awakens us," he says in his native tongue. "The convergence returns."

The second clip shows a larger action sequence as the Asgardians fight against the Dark Elves.

At the clip's start, Sif arrives on horseback but is quickly knocked to the ground and begins to fight from there alongside Volstagg (Ray Stevenson). The fight begins to quickly stagger out of their control as the Dark Elves arrive and begin shooting fire, scaring the townspeople fending for their lives. Sif and Volstagg notice things have gotten out of control but just as Sif is put into immediate danger when an elf approaches her, a streak of white light appears from the ground, startling the Elf.

Thor's hammer appears out of the white light and moves around the battle scene before returning to Thor's hand as he arrives to take control and win the battle.

"I've got this completely under control," Sif says to Thor angrily after he smashes his hammer to the ground.

"Is that why everything's on fire?" Thor replies.

The two clips are in addition to a clip released last week that showed Thor making a promise with his imprisoned brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in order to get him to help fight against Malekith.

Thor: The Dark World arrives in theaters Nov. 8.
