Another extortion attempt reportedly took place from the Hong Kong set of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction following the recent fracas involving an attack on the film's director.

A suspected triad gang member was arrested Wednesday for trying to extort money from the film's crew members on the set. The guy was accompanied by three other racketeers, who haven't been nabbed yet, and was taken into custody for seeking compensation since the film was shooting in their neighborhood.

Following these incidents, security around the film's set has been tightened.

On Oct. 17, Transformers director Michael Bay was attacked by a local who tried to disrupt filming and hurled an air conditioner at the him also on the Hong Kong set. The man, who was purportedly under the influence of drugs, was accompanied by two other guys. The three of them were angry because they believed that the producers of the film owed them for filming in their city. They demanded the film's crew give them over HK$100,000 ($12,900).
