While not specifically naming her estranged husband Jason Hoppy, Bethenny Frankel compared divorce to a dessert in an interview with Us Weekly on Nov. 7.

Talking to the publication after taping her talk show Bethenny, the former Real Housewives of New York City star said "divorces are like ice cream."

"There are a lot of different flavors. Some can be very amicable, and some can be very peaceful and easy, and some can be really brutal," she explained. "I honestly did not have any idea how difficult in the very least it can be."

The 43-year-old also hinted that there is more to her own separation from Hoppy, 42, than the public knows. She teased, "I'm very straightforward [but] people probably know about 10 percent of the story and I can't share the story."

Though she was romantically linked to a billionaire earlier in November, the talk show host said she is not yet ready to date.

"It's like having food poisoning and not wanting to eat again," she added. "In theory it sounds somewhat appetizing, but in reality it just doesn't seem all that interesting to me."

Frankel still lives in the same 3,400-square-foot New York City home as Hoppy that they moved into together with daughter Bryn, 3. She made the admittance about her living situation in September and spoke to the publication about acting as a single mother, saying prioritization is key.

"You don't really have a lot of free time, so you have to be organized and efficient, and quality time is the most important thing with your child," she said.

Approaching the holiday season, Frankel is looking forward to spending time with Bryn. Talking about the mother-daughter bonding, she said, "We'll definitely do Christmas cookies. We'll definitely do the tree decorating and the house decorating. That's the best thing about kids -- they make you young again."
