A new clip from Vampire Academy shows a catfight taking place at what appears to be a school dance.

The clip starts off with Mia (Sami Gayle) approaching a girl dancing with her beau and asking her about a recent hospital stay. When told "go away," Mia calls the couple a "drag" and hints at drama regarding the girl taking guys away from Mia.

The girl walks away to avoid the drama while Mia and the guy start arguing, until Rose (Zoey Deutch) shows up. Mia is annoyed over Rose and "the princess" being friends again. Rose rips a corsage off Mia's wrist and when Mia busts out her fangs, Rose swings a punch at Mia, literally knocking her off her feet.

"Everyone saw that I tried to take the high road there," Rose said to justify her punch. "Sort of."

The movie revolves around Rose who is a "dhampir"- a half-human and a half-vampire. She attends St. Vladimir's Academy boarding school training to be a guardian for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. While other dhampirs attend the school, the story talks about the good and evil vampires that exist in their world.

The good vampires, "Moroi," who only drink donor blood and have the power to control the four elements: earth, air, water and fire. Evil vampires, called "Strigoi," who are in it for the kill.

Also starring Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) as Queen Tatiana, the film hits theaters Feb.14, 2014. The motion picture is based on a book with the same name by Richelle Mead.
