An assault and theft case against the "Love Yourself" pop star, Justin Bieber, has been in limbo in the Argentinean justice system for over three years now. However, a new ruling has been put out, which has now formally accused the pop singer of the said charges.

A Judge in Buenos Aires has officially indicted the 22-year old singer for the incident that happened in 2013. According to a report from TMZ, the case had alleged that Bieber had ordered one of his bodyguards to assault a photographer while they were in Argentina. The bodyguard also allegedly stole the unidentified paparazzo's money and his photography gear under Bieber's command.

The young and controversial singer has so far maintained his innocence in the entire matter and has even claimed that the Judge who had made the ruling was a "lone wolf" who was just out to get him. Despite the singer's outcry, the ruling on the case still stands, which means that Bieber will not be able to step foot in the country any time soon until the case is resolved. If he does, Argentinean officers would have no choice but to arrest him.

The entire situation will also have an adverse effect on Bieber's planned South American concert tour, as Argentina remains to be one of the singer's biggest market. The country also boasts to have one of the biggest Bieber fan bases in the entire continent. An industry source also claims that the entire case is ultimately detrimental to the country itself, as having Bieber appear in a concert there would only translate to more money for its economy.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber's lawyers are reportedly planning to appeal the indictment, claiming that it is really nothing more than a publicity stunt by the judge who ruled on it. The singer's lawyers are hoping that the appeals court judges would also see it from their view point and throw out the case.
