Following a report that revealed Peggy Sulahian and her husband Diko secretly divorced in 1996, the Real Housewives of Orange County star took to her Bravo blog to defend herself and her marriage.

As fans of the Bravo reality show may know, Sulahian and her husband have been married for over 20 years and share three children, despite their brief separation years ago.

“As you can see, I have an amazing relationship with my husband Diko,” Sulahian insisted, according to a report by Radar Online on August 16. “We have the best of times being silly, with love and laughter, even having fun with a topic of idioms such as ‘beating a dead horse.'”

Sulahian went on to reveal that she is not concerned with the latest gossip regarding potential trouble in her marriage to husband Diko.

“I googled it later, to find out it meant something pointless to discuss since it’s been discussed so many times already; he’s so right,” she explained.

She also briefly addressed the rumors of homophobia.

“As I deal with the loss of my father and my health battle, I am choosing to focus on my family and on my own recovery and not on personal attacks against me,” Sulahian added. “I will not further engage in a public exchange with anyone, but it must be stated that the accusations against me are false and my actions have been grossly mischaracterized.”
