'Tamar And Vince' Show: Tiny Harris Says Braxton Is 'OK' Amid Divorce As Wendy Williams Questions If It's A 'Publicity Stunt'

While fans wait for Tamar Braxton to break her silence following news of her divorce, Braxton’s childhood friend and singer Tiny Harris has given an update.

“I just got off the phone with her,” she told Hollywood Life Monday. “She’s doing OK. You know, it’s a time for her, but she’s making it. There’s a ton of people that love her, so she’s fine.”

One thing that can lighten up Braxton’s mood is hitting the road with Tiny and girl group Xscape for The Great Xscape tour. Braxton is a performer along with singer, Monica Brown.

“This will be our first time ever going on tour together,” said Harris. She and Braxton have been friends since they were teenagers. “We’re so excited for it!”

Braxton’s divorce made headlines after she filed last week, citing irreconcilable differences. She and her now estranged husband Vincent Herbert would have celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary in November.

Her rep released a statement to PEOPLE on her behalf on Oct. 25.

“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”

Interestingly enough, Harris had filed for divorce from her husband, rapper T.I. last year. The two are said to be working things out but many fans have accused Braxton of filing as a publicity stunt. She and Herbert’s reality show, Tamar & Vince, returns for its fifth season next week.

Wendy Williams openly questioned Braxton’s motive for pulling the plug on her marriage.

“So I’m thinking, Tamar and Vince, I hope that this is not like some sort of publicity stunt that you guys are doing to promote your upcoming reality show,” she said on her daytime talk show Monday.

Williams then chimed in on rumors that Braxton is upset that Herbert is managing rapper Remy Ma.

“There’s nothing wrong with Vince managing Remy Ma,” she continued. “Her and Papoose are always together so that’s a safe situation if you want to say what’s safe and what’s not with your man going on the road with somebody.”

She then pointed out that Herbert’s position with Remy could help his and Braxton’s financial woes.

“They can bring some money into the house and reduce the millions of dollars in debt that Tamar and Vince are in… I’m watching you Tamar and Vince!”
