American-Greek musician Tommy Lee is engaged to his girlfriend Vine star Brittany Furlan on Valentine's Day. The Mötley Crüe artist announced their engagement on Instagram with a photo of Furlan's diamond ring that he captioned, "Well this certainly beats chocolates. Say hello to future Mrs. Lee."

This is the fifth time the rock star got engaged, although he did not tie the knot with his former girlfriend and vocalist Sofia Toufa since their announcement in 2014. Lee, whose birth name is Thomas Lee Bass, was married thrice with model Elaine Bergen, actress Heather Locklear, and actress Pamela Anderson.

Lee divorced his first wife just one year after the wedding. His marriage with Locklear lasted seven years.

Anderson and Lee wed just four days after their first meeting. Their relationship lasted three years and ended in 1998. They had two sons together.

Marrying The 'Best Friend'

Furland earned her social media fame through her frequent posts on video-sharing platform Vine. She also had brief stints on film and television with Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends.

On Wednesday, the social media star also tweeted a photo of her sparkling heart-shaped engagement ring.

"Best day of my life!!!! I can't wait to get to spend forever with my best friend," she wrote on Twitter.

On a separate Instagram post, Furlan said she cannot stop staring at the precious ring. This is her first marriage. Earlier on Feb. 14, the Mötley Crüe drummer sent her flowers.

Rumors of Lee and Furlan's romantic affair first surfaced when they were spotted in a cozy getaway in Calabasas, California. The couple initially avoided the press but eventually went out to confirm their relationship.

Mötley Crüe On Netflix

Netflix is featuring a biopic of the rock band Mötley Crüe, though details of its airing are still unknown. The film-documentary, which is directed by Jeff Tremaine, is based on the band's 2001 memoir The Dirt. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, will portray the role of Tommy Lee. The actors are also joined by Douglas Booth who will play Nikki Sixx.

Written by Rich Wilkes and Tom Kapinos, the documentary has been in the works for more than a decade. Netflix's Bright also used Machine Gun Kelly's song as one of its soundtracks along with X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha.

Mötley Crüe's The Dirt memoir, cowritten by Neil Strauss, is listed in the 60 Favorite Music Books.
