Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert called it quits nearly three years ago after four years of their marriage, but according to a new report, tensions remain.

Although the pair hasn't come face to face with one another publicly in the years since Shelton filed for divorce, a new report claims that his former wife is upset after learning that he will soon open a new restaurant on Lambert's "home turf" of Nashville, Tennessee.

"She feels Blake opening businesses in Nashville is petty and just plain obnoxious," a source told Life and Style magazine on March 1.

When Shelton and Lambert first parted ways, they were forced to cut ties with a number of their properties. Also, after Lambert shut down her clothing boutique, The Pink Pistol, and the bed and breakfast she owned in Shelton's hometown, he shockingly bought back The Pink Pistol and turned it into the Ole Red Tishomingo restaurant.

"Miranda says it was Blake's idea to pick territories: Oklahoma for him and Nashville for her. Blake adding a second restaurant in Nashville, after he opened one in her old location in Oklahoma, adds insult to injury," the insider explained.

According to Life & Style magazine, Shelton's latest restaurant will boast a 26,000-square-foot space and will include an impressive two-story bar, as well as a restaurant, a performance space, a retail area, and private VIP booths. There will also be a 6,000-square-foot rooftop area that will feature space both indoors and outdoors where patrons will be treated to "panoramic views" of the city of Nashville.

On the official website for the upcoming restaurant, the space is described as an "entertainment venue" that "[celebrates] the country lifestyle" and will "resonate" with fans of country music.

"Nashville and Tishomingo are both places that are important to me, and it's great that each location is going to have its own personality," Shelton said in a statement.

Lambert is "taking the high road," according to the source, "but she knows what goes around comes around."

In addition to his exciting new restaurant, Shelton is also enjoying his recent return to The Voice and his ongoing relationship with Gwen Stefani, who has been attending a number of his recent concerts.
