Rapper and new father Travis Scott has found himself in legal trouble. An event promoter sued the rapper for reneging on his commitment.

He Never Showed Up

The issue seems to have arisen following a cancellation on Scott's part, which happened soon after his partner Kylie Jenner gave birth to their daughter, Stormi Webster.

According to legal documents, PJAM LLC claims to have paid Scott $150,000 of the $200,00 fee for his performance at Myth Live in Minnesota on February 3.

The fees were paid based on a contract signed by Scott on January 24. The timing of the show is important because not only was it the night before the Super Bowl, but Stormi was born on February 1.

Scott's agent also reportedly received a $10,000 booking fee and a private jet was arranged to fly the rapper to the venue. PJAM alleges Scott refused to show up, and at the time the reason given was due to inclement weather.

Of course, information that Jenner had given birth just two days prior to the date of the event was not made public yet. Scott did perform that night at Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, apparently, so he could stay close to Jenner.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Jenner and Scott announced that baby Stormi had arrived, breaking the Internet ten times over.

Damage To Their Reputation

The promoter claims that Scott received a significant sum upfront, but they are also suing for extra expenses related to the gig.

"As a result of this breach, [PJAM] suffered significant damages including the sums paid to XX Global [the legal agent and representative of Scott] and [Scott] and their booking agent, the sums paid to arrange Webster's travel, the sum's paid to advertise the event, lease the venue and hire staff, and the lost profits [PJAM] would have realized on this event," alleges the suit.

PJAM claims to have suffered damage to their reputation after failing to provide the performance advertised. Scott has yet to comment on the allegations.

Tyga, Travis, And Stormi

Jenner gave birth to Stormi following almost a year of social media silence. She had only been with Scott a few months when she fell pregnant, though it wasn't confirmed until the baby was born.

Prior to hooking up with Scott, Jenner dated another rapper, Tyga, for close to three years.

Rumors swirled that he was claiming paternity of the child but Tyga took to Twitter earlier this week to shut down rumors and ask for privacy for him and his family.
