Attention, fans! A Venom trailer has been leaked and it showed actor Tom Hardy transforming to his scary and frightening symbiote form.

The recent clip making the rounds on the internet is certainly making a buzz, after all, it was indeed buzz-worthy. If one thinks, a less-than-10-seconds video doesn't seem to show anything at all, no context, no action. But Venom's leaked trailer proved the otherwise, as it showed how Hardy awesomely transformed into his alien symbiote form.

@Mister_Batfleck made sure he shared some tidbits of the awaited film by taking it to Twitter to upload the 8-second short clip of the trailer. The effects were on-fleek and Venom looked absolutely and amazingly terrifying.

"Well holy sh*t, Venom looks like Venom," the user wrote.

Short Clip

The clip showed Eddie Brock, played by Hardy, choking a man. He then declared, "We are Venom," as his voice simultaneously changed as well. The character can be seen sticking his tongue out. As of writing, the post already had close to 19,000 likes and more than 10,000 retweets.

Brock is a journalist, who became the enemy of Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. He bonds with the alien symbiote, later to be known as Venom.

Some noted that his head, or what can be seen in the teaser, strictly followed what was in the comics. Comic book fans pointed out that it was the same design as when the symbiote first attached itself to Brock in the source material.

Underwhelmed Fans

This could excite fans who have expressed their disappointment over the first official trailer of Venom, which showed a bit of Hardy's Brock's background but fell short on actually showing the iconic character. Many felt underwhelmed because of this, as the titular character was never shown in the video.

However, Hardy announced recently that another trailer is going to be out, but it looked like attendees have already beat the team behind Venom. That said, Sony might probably release the said trailer in the coming days, or hours, judging by the leak that had happened.

Sony would not have wanted the trailer to be released through a leak, but it already happened. Venom is slated for an Oct. 5 release. Starring are Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate, and Woody Harrelson. It is directed by Ruben Fleischer, who also directed Zombieland.

So basically fans now have an idea of how Venom looks like. What's unknown as of the moment, is if Venom will be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which had been up for debate for the fans.
