Travis Scott refused to join Kylie Jenner during "The Kardashians" premiere, and a source recently revealed the real reason why he opted to be absent.

On Thursday, the Kardashian-Jenner clan members went to the Goya Studios in Hollywood to attend the red carpet event of their new series, "The Kardashians." Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, True Thompson, Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and more graced the floor.

While the Kardashian sisters brought their respective beaus, Kylie's partner, Scott, was notably absent.

A source explained to Hollywood Life that the 30-year-old rapper thought it was best if he would not attend the event.

"Travis thought that if he was at the premiere, he would have taken away from what the night was meant to be. He has a lot of things to deal with, and if he was out at a premiere having a fun time, he knows exactly how that would look like," the insider said.

The rapper has been keeping a low profile since the Astroworld Music Festival's tragedy in November 2021. The insider explained that he wanted everything to go smoothly. Unfortunately, it would not happen if he was there.

Meanwhile, another source said that Scott and Kylie decided not to appear together in any big event since their baby was born. He also reportedly aimed to have Kylie get all the attention and let her shine on her own.

Kendall Jenner Also Skipped "The Kardashians" Premiere

Aside from Scott, Kylie's sister, Kendall also missed the premier.

A source told E! News that the model wanted to be there to support her family. However, she failed to do so as she was reportedly under the weather.

The news outlet did not reveal what made Kendall feel sick. But a news outlet claimed that the 26-year-old only wanted to avoid bringing Devin Booker around her siblings since it might result in a drama.

"[Kris Jenner] is piling on the pressure to make Devin part of the show, but Kendall's made it clear that's never going to happen," a source said. "[Kendall is very protective of him] and their relationship and doesn't share much with her family because she doesn't totally trust them not to talk about it."

While it may have irritated the family, they could not do anything about it since it was Kendall's decision.

Kendall and Devin were first spotted together in April 2020. At that time, they already looked like a couple, but a source dismissed the claims. In February 2021, they finally went Instagram official.
