Johnny Depp will continue to clear his name in a new legal battle, and Camille Vasquez will be there to help him.

Depp recently regained his life after the seven-person jury in the recently-ended defamation trial sided with him. The jury said that Heard was guilty of defaming him and damaging the actor's reputation through the op-ed.

While the "Aquaman" actress announced that she would file an appeal soon, Depp needs to shift his focus, for now, to deal with another lawsuit.

The location manager of Depp's drama "The City of Lies," Gregg Brooks, filed a lawsuit alleging that the actor punched him twice in the rib cage. He claimed that Depp inflicted emotional distress on him after his action.

Brooks added that Depp offered $100,000 to punch him in the face.

To defend himself in the new trial, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star is bringing his star lawyer, Camille Vasquez, with him. The attorney, as well as Benjamin Chew, attained celebrity status following their performances in the defamation case.

It remains unknown whether Chew will also come with them. But Vasquez's participation has already been confirmed, and she will also head to Los Angeles Superior Court next month to defend the actor against Brooks' lawsuit.

It is not surprising that Depp hired her again, as firms recently got involved in a bidding war to add her to their roster of lawyers.

"I'm proud of the uniquely talented team I've had the privilege to lead, which exemplified teamwork and collaboration, and I look forward to continuing to represent Brown Rudnick's culture of excellence," Vasquez said.

Johnny Depp Could Also Win New Assault Case

Aside from Vasquez, Emma Danoff could also help Depp win the case against Brooks.

Danoff, one of the witnesses who sides with Depp, said that the event happened differently from what the location claimed. Instead of the actor, it was reportedly Brooks who insulted a homeless black woman while making the 2017 film.

The script supervisor said Brooks called the woman with racial and derogatory slurs. The actor, in response to it, stood up for the black woman and defended her.

"He immediately stood up from our shared seat on the edge of a planter bench and went over to Brooks to stand up for the woman. Mr. Depp said to Mr. Brooks, 'You can't talk to her like that. You think she is something less that you? Who do you think you are? How dare you?'" Danoff stated, per Sportskeeda.

Danoff added that no punches were thrown at that time. Depp also did not offer $100,000 to Brooks. To prove her statement, she said she is willing to submit 40 time-stamped images to the court.
