Tamar Braxton gave the latest update on her divorce with Vincent Herbert. She opened up to one fan about it via Twitter Thursday.

Tamar Braxton Lets Fan Know She Still Has A Husband

The reality star and Grammy-nominated songstress was live tweeting during the most recent episode of WeTV’s Tamar and Vince. Fans have seen Braxton and her estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, go back and forth as they argue about her career and their marriage as a whole. Braxton ended up filing for divorce from Herbert in late October, but she let one fan know a marriage doesn’t go away that quickly.

The fan attempted to come for Braxton and point out that she doesn’t have a husband anymore. Braxton didn’t waste any time in correcting the fan on social media.

Braxton confirmed through a representative that she had filed for divorce in a statement with PEOPLE on Oct. 25.

“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert,” read the statement. “Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”

Is Tamar Braxton Still Giving Up Music?

The two would have celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary last month. They also have a child, Logan, 4, together. Interestingly enough, while viewers tune in to see the latest argument between Herbert and Braxton, just before she filed for divorce, Braxton announced that she would not be releasing anymore music in an effort to save her marriage considering Herbert worked as her manager at the time. Even though she has filed for divorce, Braxton hinted on Twitter that she still doesn’t really have plans to release new music anytime soon. She clapped back at one fan who told her if she was so unhappy, to stop coming out with new music.

She also responded to a fan who reminded Braxton that singing is something that she has wanted to do since she was a child. Braxton let the fan know all of the drama that comes with it isn’t worth it.
